Studio etiquette

Policies

We value you and your experience in the studio, so we have a few core values we uphold, and we are sure you will agree with them.

Please be kind

We are a community of like-minded and caring people. We respect each other’s journey and we are a non-judgemental fitness space. Harassment and bullying are not tolerated, toward other patrons or toward staff.

To prevent the slip and slide

Please wear socks (preferably grip socks) and appropriate attire to class, so you can freely flow, move and enjoy your practice. Grip socks are sold in the studio while stocks last.

Switch off

Phones on silent, and preferably left in your bag for the duration of your class.

Your time is precious

So please turn up on time. We understand delays happen, but we cannot allow you to participate more than 5 minutes after a class has started, and you will be charged as if in attendance. This is for your safety, so you get an adequate warm-up, and out of respect for the other people in the room.

Children and dependents

We are not able to accommodate children or pets in the studio. The exception is our Friday 10:30am Pregnancy & Pram class, which is designed for babies to come along and is suitable for non-crawling little ones.

Cancellations & no-shows

If your plans change

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and you may need to cancel. Here is how it works.

More than 6 hours ahead

Cancel through Mindbody or the app and your class goes straight back into your account. No fee, and someone on the waitlist gets your spot.

Inside 6 hours

The class is deducted and a $10 late cancellation fee applies. There is rarely time to fill the spot at that point.

No-show

If the booking is not cancelled and you do not arrive, the class is deducted and a $15 no-show fee applies.

Memberships

How your membership works

We like to keep things simple, transparent and supportive, so you always know exactly where you stand.

Fortnightly memberships

Your fortnight begins on the day your payment is debited, giving you the next two weeks of classes in advance. On a 2-classes-per-week membership, for example, you receive all 4 classes upfront to use however you wish within that fortnight.

Any unused classes roll over into the following cycle. They do not roll over indefinitely, though: all classes carry a strict one-month expiry.

Monthly memberships

You receive 4 classes to use throughout the month, scheduled however works best for you. As all classes carry a one-month expiry, they do not roll over into the following month.

Suspensions

Going away, or unwell? We can place your membership on hold for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 8 weeks per year. Please give us at least 5 working days notice using the suspension request form on the Members page.

We do not offer suspensions for the purpose of catching up on unused classes. This keeps things fair for every member wanting to attend, and workable for a small business.

Class packs and casual classes

Class packs carry a 6 month expiry. All casual classes and class packs are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No lock-in contracts

There are none. We always endeavour to accommodate individual needs where we can, and we value every member of our community. If you ever have a question about your membership, just ask.
